AZ150 Galvalume Steel Coil

AZ150 Galvalume Steel Coils are manufactured using an aluminum-zinc alloy (55% aluminum) hot-dip continuous dipping process. They have better performance in building construction and are usually better than galvanized steel coils under the same coating. Galvalume provides both plating and barrier protection, rather than the plating protection primarily provided by galvanized steel, so when exposed to the same atmospheric conditions, Galvalume lasts 2- longer than an equivalent thickness of galvanized layer (traditional galvanized sheet) 4 times stronger and more durable than aluminized Type 1 and Type 2 products. The alloy coated product contains by weight 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon. Galvalume is produced using a traditional hot-dip coating process and is ideal for applications requiring high corrosion resistance and heat reflectivity. They can use it in applications such as construction, appliances, agricultural equipment and some non-exposed automotive parts. Due to its shiny sequin look, galvalume can even be used without a layer of paint.
