High Carbon Steel Sheet
High-carbon steel plate is commonly known as carbon tool steel. Its carbon content is often 0.6-2.11%, and its manganese content is 0.3-0.9%. It can be quenched and tempered. In contrast, high carbon steel offers the greatest strength and hardness, but the least ductility. This means that high carbon steel plates are difficult to weld, cut, bend, etc. Therefore, it is mainly used in the manufacture of smaller parts, iron wire, hoops, cutting tools, high-strength wire and springs, etc.
