Galvalume Steel Strip
The surface of the galvalume steel strip is covered with an aluminum-zinc alloy whose composition is 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. It freezes at 600°C. Alloy coatings give galvanized strip steel better properties. The corrosion resistance of galvanized steel strip is 2-6 times that of hot-dip galvanized steel strip. Features of galvalume steel strip: 1) Composed of 55% Aluminum, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon. 2) Formable, weldable and paintable. 3) Corrosion resistant under most atmospheric conditions. This is achieved through a combination of zinc's sacrificial protection and aluminum's barrier protection. 4) The coating performance is 2-6 times better than that of hot-dip galvanized steel
