Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Sheet
Carbon steel plate is one of the most common steel products. The specific type of carbon steel plate is selected according to its use. It is divided into low, medium and high levels. Uses range from machined parts to cutting blades and knives, architectural and structural applications, punches, dies, springs and more. Carbon sheet metal is most commonly used for structural purposes such as buildings, but it has the flexibility to be used in ornate designs. Mild steel plate (wrought iron) is commonly used for fences, chain links, gates and railings. Structural steel (medium carbon steel) is used in cars, refrigerators, washing machines, buildings and bridges. Plates are usually made of medium carbon steel.
