Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil
Pre-coated GALVALUME steel coils are baked at the factory. Processing on a painting line includes cleaning, pretreatment, primer and topcoat, and the formation of a uniform paint finish, all in one continuous process. Prepainted GALVALUME steel coil systems are highly corrosion-resistant aluminum-zinc coatings that serve as the basis for paint systems. Chemical pretreatments are used to promote adhesion between paint and metal coating surfaces. Apply a high-performance primer over pre-treated surfaces to enhance corrosion resistance, especially around cut edges, scratches and bends. The system is completed by the application of colourful, durable coatings selected according to the performance requirements of the application. Typical topcoats include acrylics, polyesters, siliconized polyesters, fluoropolymers and plastisols.
