Threaded Steel Bars
Threaded rods (also known as rebars or full threads) are commonly used in construction, plumbing, and general maintenance applications to stabilize objects made of wood, metal, or other materials. For example, threaded rods can be used to join metal and wood, wall structures and furniture. Threads allow nuts, bolts etc. to be screwed onto rods quickly and easily. Threaded rod is available in 75/80 ksi and 150 ksi steel grades ranging in size from #8 to #28 (cold rolled), and 75/80 steel grades in sizes from #6-#14 (hot rolled). Cold rolled high strength 150 ksi rods are 1 to 3 inches in diameter. Rods are available in individual rod lengths up to 60 feet.
